I am, Javier A. Martinez co-founder and member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce since 1986.
As a former co-owner of a radio station that grew to be one of the city’s most popular and successful I then started the Texas Times Publication in 1981. A Monthly Magazine with circulation in Del Rio, Bracketville, Uvalde as well as Acuña, Zaragoza and Coahuila, Mexico.
In association I started a Media Agency knows as Pam American Advertising to promote local and area businesses with exposure throughout our area and areas like San Angelo, Eagle Pass and Northern Mexico.
In 1997 I started a Talk Show on KWMC Radio, AM 1490 called “Town Talk Live” and even though I may not anchor the show anymore but I still contribute in my Semi-Retired state. Yes, that show remains on the air to this day.
I have remained an active member of this chamber since them as well as an active member of St Joseph’s Catholic Church.
As Director of Membership, I would like to make a special invitation to those businesses or individuals that have not yet become part of this organization.
