On behalf of The Del Rio Hispanic Chamber of Commerce I would like to thank each and everyone of you for doing what you can to follow city, government, and CDC officials and their orders/recommendations regarding COVID-19. In times like these, our actions create a reaction and if we work together we can be sure it is a positive one. We want to remind you all that now more than ever it is important to help our neighbors how we can. We encourage you all to shop local and support small businesses during these times as they are not receiving the same amount of foot traffic as they normally would and many of them are continuing to do what they can to remain open in order to provide our city with what it needs as well as a sense of normality. When you shop small and local you give back (MORE) to the community by helping our local economy, creating need for more work which in turn means more jobs, and connecting to your community with the friends and people you meet along the way as well as behind the counter. Shopping small and locally means you are investing in a future that benefits all of us. With the help of each and everyone of you we can ensure we will come out of this stronger than ever. Once again, thank you for everything you all have done for this community and may you and your family stay safe and healthy.
